Every October, Amman shuts its streets and the whole city runs. On Friday 2 October, the 16th Amman Marathon took over the capital, from the full 42.195km to the half and the 10K. And the bears ran the city again.
WHY PINK
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It's a conversation that still isn't loud enough here, so we made it loud.
We made a tee for the marathon. Pink, loud, impossible to miss in a crowd of thousands. Then we put it on our backs and ran it through the middle of the city.
Bears showed up. In pink. All of us.
