Kuma means bear.
The big brands know sport. They don’t know Jordan. So in 2020, we built our own.
GYMKUMA started in Amman with one idea: kit that performs like the best in the world and feels like home. We took our name from the Japanese word for bear. Strong, stubborn, impossible to ignore.
Today we make performance wear, football kits and everyday gear for men, women and kids. But the brand was never just the clothes. It’s the 6am lifters, the Friday five-a-side, the runners who train through an Amman August. That’s Kuma Nation.

Amman is a city of hills. Thousands of stairs, steep slopes and long streets, all of it a gym nobody was using.
So we marked it. We turned stairways, slopes and streets across the city, from Wasat Al Balad to Weibdeh, Abdali and Abdoun, into free outdoor gyms. Each one got a GYMKUMA plaque with the steps, minutes per lap and calories burned.
No membership. No fee. Just the city.

the City
Every October, Amman shuts its streets and the whole city runs. We show up in pink, loud and impossible to miss, for breast cancer awareness.
